In another sign of growth south of Fort Worth, the Crowley community of Sycamore Landing has more than doubled its size with the addition of 124 homesites as families, including first-time home buyers, continue to be drawn to the area’s affordable housing options.
Legend Homes, which opened the community in 2021 with 119 homesites, will add homes in Sycamore Landing’s newest section, with several already at or near completion for immediate move in.
Starting in the $300s, plans feature an open-concept layout, kitchen island with space for high-top seating, flex room for home office, workout space or hobby area, spacious bedrooms including a primary bedroom with walk-in closet, and dedicated laundry room. Two-story plans offer an upstairs game room with a primary bedroom on the first floor.
Three- and four-bedroom plans range from 1,412 to 2,628 square feet.
“We expect to see continued interest in the area, particularly among first-time homebuyers looking to enjoy the benefits of suburban living without sacrificing access to city amenities and employment centers,” notes Jenny Oates, Vice President of Sales for Legend Homes in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Sycamore Landing is located less than three miles west of I-35, 20-25 minutes south of downtown Fort Worth. Residents enjoy an expansive neighborhood park with playground, walking paths, and award-winning Crowley ISD schools.
